Why We Started
Like many great things, Sipsy Tea began with a personal passion. We grew up in a culture where tea is more than a morning ritual – it's a moment of connection, warmth, and joy. But we noticed that truly premium, expertly crafted tea was hard to find. Most teas on the market were blended for volume, not for flavour.
So we decided to change that.
We went back to the source – studying tea grades, visiting estates, and learning the art of blending – until we created something we were truly proud of. Sipsy Tea Classic was born: a bold, aromatic blend that delivers rich flavour and royal freshness in every sip.
Our Expertise in Tea Grades
Not all tea is created equal. At Sipsy Tea, we take tea grading seriously – because the grade of the leaf determines the character of your cup.
We work with some of the finest grades in the industry, including BOP (Broken Orange Pekoe), BOPSM, BP (Broken Pekoe) each with its own unique strength, aroma, and body.
